I have an installation of WAMP (Windows Apache Mysql and PHP) installed on windows 7 64bit with BudddyBackup backing up to a local USB drive.

Originally i wasnt able to start mysql when BuddyBackup was running and in the logs it complained that port 80 was already in use.

This was fixed by going to the Tools Menu -> Options, choosing the advanced tab -> advanced settings and unchecking the use ports 80 and 443 for incoming connections.

So now i can do development on WAMP at the same time as having a safe backup made of the files i am working on BUT it is unable to backup the mysql database files - i think this is because WAMP cannot backup open files.  It does back the database up if i stop all services or the alternative is to do a db export at intervals.

Hopefully this will be useful to others.

Regards
