Not able to download proper files to restore

   Hi Everyone, I am new to the forum and tried doing a search but cant find what I need.
I short explanation is that my daughter backs up her files to my computer while she is away at college. What I have done is set up a new folder for each semestre and the files do go to the proper folder as I can see the files going in (cant read them of course). This past weekend I bought her a new laptop, had it all set up and tried to restore her files from this semestre. She gave me permission and her her password to do it. She will change passwords when I am completed. The problem is that Do the heklping a friend restore and back her files up to a memory stick but when I put it in her computer and do a restore it is only doing the files from 2 years ago. I cant figure out how to restore the most recent files from this semestres folder. If anybody has any ideas I would really appreciate it.

	Hello, I have not tried the "Do the helping a friend restore" yet but I believe it is similar to the normal restore procedure. - Check you are selecting the correct Semester folder. - Make sure you have selected 'Most recent backup' and not 'Backup saved before' in the restore section. - It may be that BB needs a bit more time to reload the full list of available backup files (I do not know how long this takes). As a workaround, if you have access to the old laptop try, restoring the files to another location from there. If you cannot see the latest backup files from the old laptop I think you will need John's help. Good luck Paul
